Keratometric/corneal astigmatism is commonly encountered in the aphakic population. In the United States, none of the current scleral fixated techniques allow for the concurrent correction of astigmatism with intraocular lens-based surgery. The MX60T toric IOL is used by many surgeons for surgical correction of astigmatism and is readily available.
