Description
Although patients with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) may suffer from poor wound healing and although intracorneal ring segment (ICRS) implantation is currently regarded as “off-label” for patients with collagen vascular diseases (including EDS), we have evidence that suggests ICRS may be a safe and effective option for flattening and stabilizing the cornea in eyes with EDS and comorbid keratoconus.
