Course will address practical and theoretical aspects of the planning and analysis of astigmatism for toric IOLs, LRIs and refractive laser surgery. A systematic approach to planning astigmatism treatment and correcting for refractive surprises will be discussed. This will include measurement of accurate corneal astigmatism using corneal topographic astigmatism (CorT). Participants will be able to plan and analyze astigmatism treatment using both corneal and refractive parameters and gain an understanding of how to predict and correct for postoperative refractive surprises following refractive toric IOLs.
