Course will discuss how advances in technology, IOLs, phaco machines, and femtolaser are making cataract surgery extremely similar to refractive surgery. An ideal result of cataract surgery is plano correction. The cataract surgeon must provide optimal vision quality, which requires accurate customization of IOL choice, obsessively accurate biometry, and adoption of new technology IOLs, including multifocal, toric, and multifocal toric.
