Course will present and overview the current concepts of astigmatism management in Cataract Surgery, participants will gain information on work up, management options and troubleshooting in astigmatism management. Course will cover management techniques for preexisting astigmatism at the time of implant surgery, with focus upon pre-operative work up, patient selection, corneal marking techniques, surgical pearls, options available for management which includes Toric IOL and Limbal Relaxing Incision, when to choose which technique. Recent advances which include marker less solutions for implanting toric IOLs, LRI using femtosecond laser, and newer toric implant.
