2021 ASCRS Foundation Giving Tuesday Funding Announcement

I am thrilled to announce our Foundation community unleashed a wave of generosity on Giving Tuesday, unlocking the match and raising $79,112 to change lives in just one day! This critical funding will provide the gift of sight to those in need and create a ripple effect of joy, opportunity and independence.

ASCRS Foundation Executive Director, Don Bell, shares this special message:

"The money raised during this year’s Giving Tuesday campaign comes at a critical time for the ASCRS Foundation. Our Operation Sight program has seen record applications and we’re working hard to place all eligible patients with volunteer surgeons. Your generous response will enable us to treat a far greater number. We’re excited to share the news of your support with those on our waiting list and look forward to helping them return to productive and rewarding lives."
