In-the-bag intraocular lens malpositioning is associated with complications during cataract surgery and it is one of the major indication of intraocular lens explantation. But in many cases it is possible to try a second opportunity of the capsular bag, to reimplant in a correct position the intraocular lens, even months o years after the first surgery, avoiding the intraocular lens explantation.
