A novel technique is described for the management of aphakia. It involves the injection of a foldable hydrophobic acrylic lens, which haptics have been pre-threaded with Gore-Tex, through a 2.4 incision. The lens is then secured to the scleral wall through two pair of sclerotomies. This technique avoids tilt and torque, allows for centration fine-tuning, and has proven to be safe and replicable.
