Course will review the use of cosmetic procedures and products with their effect on the tear-film and ocular surface. Cosmetic procedures involving the lids or lashes, eye creams, serums and makeup remover all may exacerbate dry eye disease. Topics will include lash extensions, eyelash embellishments, periorbital neurotoxins, and aesthetic lid procedures. Attendees will learn how to better identify co-conspirators of ocular surface disease.
