Intra-operative Optical Coherence Tomography or iOCT has been gaining traction as a useful adjunct in teaching, researching and improving cataract surgery. This movie focuses on iOCT imaging of the crystalline lens and in particular, the posterior capsule. We will look at posterior capsule pathology, posterior capsule ruptures and introduce a useful new iOCT sign of posterior capsule rupture.
