Course Description
When a surgeon transitions from LASIK to SMILE, there are some technical challenges that one needs to overcome.The IC will start with presenting data on SMILE from a high volume centre which will provide data to the audience for them to consider transitioning to SMILE. Technical execution will be divided into three parts. 1) Ocular surface preparation 2)Docking 3) Lenticule dissection technique. We will then move on to addressing complications. .
