Course Description
Course will provide a stepwise approach to perform intrascleral fixation(ISF) of intra ocular lens(IOL) with the Yamane technique as well as using 6-0 Prolene for ISF of subluxed in-the-bag IOLs, Mayugin CTRs and for iris repair. Critical elements to achieve a well centered IOL will be highlighted. Examples of situations where complications arose from improper technique will be shown as will strategies to identify the causes and rectify them.

I want the learner to understand surgical nuances of ISF and be able to rectify inadvertent surgical mishaps
