A modification to iris repair, using 10-0 Prolene straight needle suture is presented in this video. The modification includes threading the 10-0 Prolene straight needle into the lumen of a 27-gauge needle mounted on a 3-ml syringe with suture pointing down. This allows for better control and safer manipulation of the straight needle in the anterior chamber and can be applied in phakic patients.
